The bachelor´s thesis goal is to find actual trends in low-energy construction in the Czech republic and abroad. Also define main concepts of low-energy construction, technical properties of these objects, methods of designing, legislational elements and new findings. Practical´s part main task is to compile statistical data on low-energy construction in the Czech republic and abroad. Aditionally calculate the price indicators and possible payback of low-energy houses.

This thesis defines basic low-energy building terms, both building and construction work evaluation concepts and specifics of low-energy construction. Practical outcome is comparision between passive and conventional buildings, including economic appraisal.
